Benchmark Advance unit 1 Week 1 Fluency

This FREE supplemental Benchmark Advance differentiated first grade fluency passages are great for weekly reading intervention. Targets short vowels and can be used in class for reading groups or at home for extra practice. These fluency passages align with Unit 1 week 1 in First Grade Benchmark Advance spelling and Sight word list in the curriculum.
 
If your class has a wide range of levels this is the perfect way to make each student feel successful. Included you have Level A, B and C, which allows you as the teacher to conduct reading groups for each student at their level. I used these passages in my reading groups as a warm up every day and then I had students take them home to practice as additional homework. I saw a big boost in reading ability and an even bigger boost in my student's confidence.
