Name Writing Practice

Follow two-step directions independently
Kids will need to be able to do things independently in class. Practice getting your child into the habit of following 1-2 step directions. For example, ask your child to put their plate in the sink when they are done eating, and then wash their hands. Something simple like that would be an example of following directions. Or you can ask your child to go and get dressed independently, and then brush their teeth.
Exposure to alphabet
Exposing students to capital letters is always a good place to start. You can introduce lowercase letters too but it's easier for kids to write their names with capital letters when they are learning to write.
